Nothing stops the Afropolitan Vibes crowd from partying when they want to party.
Not the absence of headline act Iyanya and not even the heavy downpour on the night.
It was another night of fun at the new location of Afropolitan vibes at the Muri Okunola Park in the heart of Victoria island. The park was full of beautiful people all pumped and ready to enjoy some good music. With liquor supplied by sponsors Jameson and their picturesque setup, delicious barbecue and of course fresh palm wine, the event started on an electric note with the band throwing off some of their familiar tunes that got everyone in the spirit. Mz Kiss, who was a fireball on stage and got everyone screaming and ready to go crazy and then the rain struck.
While some made for the covers, the true believers stayed behind and partied all night on stage with the performers that braved the elements. Kudos to them! Highlight of the night though was the throwback music of the evergreen Paul Play Dairo. Epic! Enjoy some the moments below:
Many people thought that would be the end but no, the raid couldn’t stop the fun and Leeroy and Paul play thrilled ecstatic fans under the makeshift shelter from the rain and it was a crazy but amazing show.
