The Afropolitan vibes music festival was a blast and indeed one of a kind. The audience were thrilled in every way and despite the economic recession and all the other challenges being faced by Nigerians, we could see people let loose, let go and have fun. The artists covered a variety of genres and no one seemed to be left out of the fun. The day started out with an evening of acoustic display from prolific artists and everyone kicked back and let the music transport them, it felt like a truly spiritual connection.
The evening event, however, was delayed for quite a while before starting. We were entertained by different DJ’s, that kept the audience in high spirits and enjoying every minute of it. The amazing Bantu crew thrilled us as always and we also had super talented guest artists from home and abroad, from the talented soul musician Danielle Eog Makedah who thrilled us with her vocals and taught us some Cameroonian dance moves, to General Pype our champion for life, making the crowd go crazy. The day ended with a crowd stirring Fuji performance from the one and only Saheed Osupa and as usual, the audience couldn’t get enough of him.
