Popularly known by her stage name Aramide, award-winning Afro-soul singer and songwriter Aramide Sarumoh who was recently crowned Best Female West Africa Act at the AFRIMA awards 3.0 is set to drop a 14 track album titled “Suitcase”.
One of the most creative albums this year, the “Suitcase” album is symbolic to the singer because it is representative of her journey through the industry and her music.
“When you are going on a journey, the first thing you think about is a Suitcase, and that is why my debut album is titled Suitcase. My Suitcase is filled with emotions, love, society; appreciation, God, my journey, heartbreak and I want everyone to come with me on this journey,” Aramide says.
This comes after she put out two singles off the album, titled “Love Me” and “Funmi Lowo”.
She also shared the album pre-order artwork and track-list.
The album, slated to drop on November 22, houses some of the finest artistes in the Nigerian industry. Notable mentions are Sound Sultan, Ice Prince, Adekunle Gold, koker and Sir Dauda with production credits going to SizzlePro, Tintin (Focus Ramon), Laitan Dada and Cobhams Asuquo.
